O události
Let us invite you to a workshop of the interactive platform PharmAround and the Masaryk Cancer Institute on the topic "Clinical studies in the time of personalized medicine", which takes place on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 in the afternoon as part of the 40th Brno Cancer Days conference.
Clinical studies are an integral part of medicine and have a tradition at the Masaryk Oncology Institute for two decades. In recent years, oncological studies have been carried out mainly in specialized centers and teaching hospitals, and their complexity is growing in all aspects. The number of early phase studies is also increasing, the course of which is entirely tied to the so-called Phase I Units and their trained team.
In the first part of the workshop we will focus on the statistical design of clinical trials, in the second part we would like to present the current challenges in the field of clinical trials at the national and regional level, including the possible benefits of cooperation between oncologists.
