6. Nationwide meeting of study nurses and clinical trial coordinators

We invite you to6th national meeting of study nurses and coordinators of clinical evaluations, which is organized by the Masaryk Memorial Cancer Institute in cooperation with the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University, Research infrastructure CZECRIN and the PharmAround foundation.

The meeting will take place7/9/2023 on Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University in Brno.The event is intended primarily for study nurses and study coordinators from various types of medical facilities. A limited number of places are intended for representatives of contracting authorities, especially monitors, from among pharmaceutical companies and CROs.

This year's thematic blocks (the program will be specified):

BLOCK I: Clinical studies for modern times

How is digital technology changing clinical trials? What is electronic source documentation and how is it implemented in the practice of a medical facility? What possibilities does Home Care involve? News in the training of coordinators

BLOCK II: Coordinator profession 3 times differently

We will take a look behind the scenes at the work of study coordinators and study nurses in non-traditional fields. What day-to-day specifics do clinical studies in intensive medicine or pediatrics bring? How do freelance coordinators work?

BLOCK III: The role of the study coordinator from the point of view of the management of the medical facility (in cooperation with CZECRIN, AIFP and ACRO-CZ)

Afternoon block with the participation of invited guests from the management of medical facilities. The profession of a study coordinator will be presented in terms of his qualifications and possible job content. What benefits does his involvement bring to the study and the hospital? The coordinator yesterday and today - the client's point of view. In a panel discussion with representatives of hospital management, we will discuss the possibilities of improving the position of study coordinators.

Registration fee for workers academic and non-profit workplaces: CZK 1,350

Representative registration fee pharmaceutical companies and other commercial entities: CZK 6,000

Cancellation fees:

• When canceling registration by Wednesday 23 August 2023 - 0% fee (full refund)
• In case of cancellation of registration by Monday 4 September 2023 - 50% fee (refund of 50% of the full price)
• When canceling registration from Tuesday 5 September 2023 onwards - 100% fee (full amount forfeited)

The registration fee includes participation in the conference, conference materials and refreshments during the event.

Based on the completed form, you will be sent an advance invoice (within 14 days). When paying from a company account, the names of the registered participants must be included in the note. The invoice will be issued and sent only after payment has been received, if a pro forma invoice is necessary, please contact us by e-mail. Registration is guaranteed only after payment of the registration fee.
